How do we handle your personal details?
When you are buying things on the internet, through our webshop or some other store, you need to provide your own personal details - Your name, where you live, your phone number, your email and what products you're buying. As some of our customers might want to know how we use these details, we are providing more detailed information about how we work with this information below.
We work with the idea of treating customers the way we ourselves would like to be treated, always. This of course applies to personal information as well.
A summary of how we handle information
We try to collect as little information as possible. We need to know your name and where you live to ship the products to you.
When you pay with a credit card, it is required that you provide you card details to Stripe's secure card system (employees of Hypersports never see these details), for them to process your payment.
We need to know what products you're ordering and your e-mail to be able to contact you with details like when the order has shipped. Your phone number is necessary as it is being entered into DHL's system to be able to send you a notification when the order is ready to be picked up.
Below we have a more detailed description of what systems you information goes through.
What systems are your details entered into?
When buying products from Hypersports, your order goes through a couple of different systems for your order to be processed.
Quickbutik
Our webshop is powered and hosted by the e-commerce platform called Quickbutik. This is a "database" where all our products, our pages with text and everything else (including this page you're reading right now) in our webshop is stored. So when you order something from Hypersports, it is done in Quickbutiks system.
When you've placed an order, the information will be entered into the system run by Quickbutik. Only we at Hypersports and Quickbutik's support can access these details. Even if the details are saved in Quickbutik's system, Quickbutik does not process these details in any way without our concent, and won't process anything unless we contact them and ask them to do it. One example of such a case would be if an error occurs and an order doesn't go trough correct, or if possibly an order is duplicated. In such a case, Quickbutik's technicians might take a look at the system and see what's wrong, to fix it.
In the order, details like what products have been ordered (for example a paintball marker), what payment option is being used (but no details like credit card numbers or similar), and the adress where we ship the order is saved.
If you want to return a product or use the warranty we might make a note of this in the Quickbutik system. A note like that might look something like this "The customer wants to return the TMC marker, shipping labels has been sent to the customer and the marker is now on it's way back to us". We never write any personal details as a note, just details related to the order.
KLARNA
We use Klarna as the provider of our checkout. This means that we might transfer your personal data in the form of contact and order details to Klarna when the checkout is loaded, in order for Klarna to manage your purchase. Your personal data transferred is processed in line with Klarna’s own privacy notice.
Stripe
When paying for an order with card, the transaction is made in Stripe's secure system. If you have any questions regarding how Stripe uses your details, we recommend contacting them directly.
Unifaun/DHL
To ship orders to customers, we're using DHL's services and the TA-system Unifaun. The shipping details are entered into Unifaun where we book the shipping, and they are then sent over to DHL who completes the delivery to you. The details provided to Unifaun and DHL is your name, adress to complete the delivery to you and your phone number so that they can send out a notice that your shipment is ready to be picked up.
Customer mails - Quickbutik/Oderland
For mails, we are using services from the company Oderland to receieve mails. If you're using the contact forms on our site to send us a mail, it is being sent trough Quickbutiks system as well. No mails are saved longer than 2 weeks after we've recieved them. If any details needs to be saved, they are written into Quickbutiks system.
