Warranty Policy

Scope of the warranty

Hypersports provides this warranty to consumers who have purchased a product from Hypersports. Hypersports warrants all new products to be free from defects in workmanship or materials for the warranty period as defined below. However, visual defects are not covered by the warranty. This warranty is applicable only to defects found during the warranty period and is valid only with respect to the original purchaser of the product.

Hypersports products are in accordance with their descriptions and specifications; it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the products purchased are fit for their intended purpose. This warranty is valid and enforceable only in Sweden.

In the event that a product is returned to us where the customer claims that the product is defective, and we cannot find any problems with the product, Hypersports will have to charge the customer a handling fee of SEK 485 for the case. In addition, we will charge the customer for the return shipping (in the case that Hypersports has paid for the return shipping) and the shipping to send the product back to the customer.

Warranty period

The period of the product's warranty varies depending on the nature of the product, below is a list of the product's warranty period unless otherwise stated on the product page.

  • Markers made of aluminum or composite: 1 year
  • Air systems and regulators: 1 year
  • Electrically operated magazines: 1 year
  • Marker accessories of a technical nature: 1 year
  • Bags: 1 year
  • Masks: 6 months
  • Clothing (incl. protection, podpack): 6 months
  • Markers made of plastic: 2 months. Non-electrically operated magazines: no warranty
  • Tools: no warranty

Other products not listed: no warranty

The warranty also does not cover consumables, pods, blasting caps and piping bags.

Extended warranty

In some cases, the manufacturer chooses to provide an extended warranty, sometimes even a lifetime warranty. This is something that is not extended by Hypersports, but the customer must then contact the manufacturer directly. Hypersports undertakes the task of providing contact details to the customer if he so requests.

Special instructions for warranty validity

Manufacturers, such as Planet Eclipse, require you to register your product with them to obtain a warranty. In all cases, we follow the manufacturer's instructions on this. This means that the warranty may be lost if the marker is not registered. This generally only applies to markers from selected manufacturers. Please contact us for more information.

Limitations

Warranty does not apply:

  • Normal wear and tear of the product.
  • Defects caused by transportation or storage of the product.
  • Defects or damage caused by improper use or poor conservation.
  • Damage caused by not following the instructions in the product's user manual.
  • Damage resulting from modification of the product.
  • The product has been modified with parts not produced by the manufacturer of the product.
