With the "Laser Cut" version, there are no more Molle attachments, but the openings for the Molle straps are cut out of the combat belt material with a laser. This gives a more modern, slimmer design and ensures fewer seams on the belt. Seams are always a weak point. With fewer seams, the laser-cut version is much more robust and durable.
